Why do styles over 50 lines need PerfectIt Eliter Tier?

Styleworks itself is free, and there's no limit on what you can build or export as Word documents or markdown files. You are free to build as many and as extensive style sheets with Styleworks as you require.

Exporting styles of 50 lines or fewer to PerfectIt works with any PerfectIt subscription tier.

To run a style with more than 50 lines in PerfectIt, you need a PerfectIt Elite subscription or higher.

Styleworks creates multiple entries in PerfectIt per line (you can hover over the green info bar to see an expanded terms list for each rule you add). All of these expanded terms are counted only as the single originating line. A 50 line style in Styleworks could include thousands of terms and preferences within PerfectIt.

We expect that for most individual users, these free limits will be more than enough for most styles. Those customers with more extensive needs will benefit from the other advantages of PerfectIt Elite, Team, or Enterprise subscriptions.
